RETURN & REFUND POLICY
At Salt & Thread Mercantile, our products are thoughtfully crafted, curated, and packed with care. Because our shop includes both food products and handmade goods, return eligibility varies by product type.
Food & Pantry Products
For food safety reasons, all food, pantry mixes, granola, drink mixes, seasonings, and other consumable products are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise not as expected due to an issue on our end, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@saltandthreadmercantile.com. Please include your order number and photos of the product and packaging when applicable so we can make it right.
Handmade & Non-Food Goods
Unused, non-food items may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging.
Because many Salt & Thread Mercantile handmade pieces are one-of-a-kind, exchanges for an identical item may not be possible.
To request a return, contact us first at hello@saltandthreadmercantile.com. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
Unless an item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Please inspect your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged during shipping or you receive the wrong item, contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns on:
• Food or consumable products
• Items that have been used, washed, worn, or altered
• Custom or personalized items
• Gift cards
• Final-sale items
Refunds
Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding your refund. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
